True Black, 833858, 5/8 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian Knight of Camelot has perfect conformation, heavy bone, a perfect bite, and a wonderful, soft handle to his fine, crimpy, very lustrous, uniform black fleece. He placed 2nd in a huge class at the 2003 MAPACA Jubilee, almost claiming Reserve Champion. He has wonderful regrowth, and his coat has gotten even more dense over the last year! Camelot's first cria was born last June- a beautiful dark maroon girl out of a maroon dam. She's perfect, and densely covered with fine, crimpy fiber; Camelot's PacaBelle was sold before she was weaned, and just won her first blue ribbon! Camelot is producing 70% female crias so far, with fine, crimpy, very lustrous fiber, and that special presence and carriage that does so well in the showring. His wonderful temperament and exemplary breeding behavior make Knight of Camelot an outstanding stud who is passing on prizewinning black genetics to his progeny.
Dam:
River Rock Sabrina
| 32287530 | Dark Brown |
Sabrina is an awesome foundation dam. She inherited the fiber quality, growth rate and character of her Peruvian sire, NWA, Ltd Leo, and her grandsire, Accoyo Peruvian Leon. She is the richest dark chocolate or coffee color you have ever seen and has a calm, gentle and steady personality. Her dam is a true black Chilean, with great density and sheen, an attractive presence and compact body style. Sabrina is an excellent mother with an abundance of milk. Sabrina has delivered dark brown, true black, bay black, dark rose grey and silver grey offspring. She comes with a breeding to any of the multiple champion herdsires we fully or partially own. We recommend Revolutions Grayson-9 time champion or AL Pacas Josey Wales -2 time champion. Sabrina has delivered 5 healthy, strong cria to us and four of them have sold. She just produced a beautiful true black female, named Raven in October 2011 out of Camelot. This girl is something else, strong, independent, growing like a weed with beautifully shiny dense and soft fiber.
Raven is a well developed, dense, crimpy young female who is on her way to becoming an excellent foundation female. In her first show as a young yearling, she took 6th out of a very competitive class of 13. The judge really liked many aspects including conformation, density and staple structure. The other placements ahead of her was due to fineness. But this girl is the daughter of our 'best mom' on the farm. That characteristic is often passed on from mother to daughter and we expect Raven to be able to deliver many healthy cria easily and provide them with the tons of milk her mom has provided to her and all her siblings. She sells with a breeding to any of our wholly or partially owned males, including 9x champion Revolutions Grayson - which would improve upon her fineness, and add even more density - Plus he can produce black (as son of 17x champion A.L.Paca's Revolution). Come take a look at Raven! Raven's adopted father is Justin.
