Details
Angel is a recent arrival here at Wildwood Alpacas. She and her male cria Ghost are agisting with us until they can be sold. Her owner is in Florida but Angel has lived in Virginia her entire life. If you have any interest in a proven, healthy, solid white female who has great mothering skills, please contact us about Angel.

The name Angel "fits" this beautiful alpaca. Her fiber was so soft at birth it reminded us of how soft angel hair looks on Christmas trees. Her fiber has great staple length and won Second place at the Oct 2011 MABA spin off. It's like spinning cotton candy! It goes further than that though. Angel is a sweet tempered alpaca apparently inheriting all that was good from both her sire and dam.

Her sire is Nottingham Hollow's Friar Tuck who is a light fawn out of a true black sire and white dam. His fiber is delightful even now that he has been breeding for a few years.

Her dam is Charmed Princess Curiosity who is white with fine fiber. Angel actually looks like a Princess clone.

Angel was bred in the spring of 2014 to Lancaster's Prominance. Prominance is the son of Herdsire of the Year 588 Peruvian Lancaster (fawn) and Casanova's Primrose Pilgrim (black). We were expecting a beautiful cria out of this pairing and we've got him! A gorgeous little white boy we've named Warrior's Ghost in honor of Memorial Day. He's bouncing and energetic and already being described as a little pig pen due to his love of rolling in the dirt! Farm visitors, especially children, are drawn to him immediately!
