Marquis's Simon

Sired by the renowned 21 time champion HRF Peruvian Challenger, Marquis was destined to make his mark. A friendly and easily handled boy, his fleece is buttery soft, very uniform, and has great staple structure. In his first show at barely 6 months, he took the blue in the juvenile bay black class with the comment of 'clear winner in the class' by judge Helen Humphries. His second show was CABO where he took second place, and at Southern Select he made us proud taking first place again in a large group of juvenile bay black males. Amanda VandenBosch was very impressed with his staple length and uniformity of fleece throughout his blanket and along the staple. 5 halter blue ribbons and finally a halter reserve championship at the Virginia Classic! Wade Gease awarded him a banner in fleece competition, saying "very fine - a positive staple length, good shine and brightness." So nice to have both a halter and a fleece championship! His 2019 cria is a dark silver grey male out of light silver grey Estates Simone and in 2021 a black female who won a reserve halter championship as a juvenile!
